AJ Floor Floor lamp

Louis Poulsen names the year of origin of the AJ Floor in 1960. The premium interior designer TAGWERC supplies the AJ Floor floor lamp as well as the entire AJ lighting family, consisting of AJ Wall, AJ Table and the outdoor luminaire AJ50 Wall as originals of licensed manufacturer Louis Poulsen.

The colour-painted steel framework of the floor lamp AJ Floor looks extremely delicate and flows into the same-coloured lampshade, which is moveable and can be individually aligned without having to move the whole lamp. The floor lamp AJ Floor is given the necessary stability by a die-cast zinc base, which is lacquered in the colour of the luminaire and looks particularly elegant due to the circular recess in the middle. With a maximum diameter of 32.5 centimeters and a height of 130 centimeters, the AJ Floor floor lamp can be operated with a light source of up to 60 watts.

Arne Jacobsen, known for designs in the Bauhaus style and style of Functionalism, applied a simple and ingenious design concept to the floor lamp AJ Floor. The tapered lampshade, held in white on the inside, serves to concentrate and reflect the light. At the same time, the light source in the center of the floor lamp AJ Floor by Louis Poulsen is obscured by the asymmetrically tapering lampshade, creating an extremely pleasant, indirect light – similar to a spotlight.

Equipped with a cable of 2.60 meters in length, which simply needs to be plugged in, the floor lamp AJ Floor by Louis Poulsen can be put into operation immediately after delivery and used flexibly. In addition, the floor lamp AJ Floor has a practical foot switch, which is located in the supply line and, at TAGWERC, is also available as a spare part.

The Danish furniture label Louis Poulsen reissued the AJ lighting series, consisting of AJ Floor, AJ Wall, AJ Table and the outdoor luminaire AJ50 Wall as a re-edition. At premium interior designer TAGWERC, you get the original Arne Jacobsen AJ lamp series from Louis Poulsen in all possible versions and finishes: table lamp, floor lamp, wall light and wall lamp for outdoor use.
